Precision LED Lighting
Bright Field Lights provide illumination directly onto an object, at angles of incidence above 45 degrees from horizontal, creating distinct shadows or general purpose illumination depending on subjects features.. This type of lighting is effective when used on objects requiring high degrees of contrast, but may create unwanted specular reflections when directed at shiny or reflective materials because of the high angle of incidence. Working distances can be short to very long.
MicroBrite™ Bright Field Series
RL208 Series
Part of the MicroBrite™ family of high performance, compact machine vision lights. Produces an intensity level of 41kLux (working distance of 180mm). Available in several sizes including 50mm, 100mm, 160mm and 200mm.
MicroBrite™ Diffuse Ring Light Series
DF198 Series
The MicroBrite™ DF198 Series provides diffuse illumination at a low angle to cast shadows used to identify surface defects, embossed text, etc. This ring light is more diffuse and less directional than the DF196. Can be used to produce a bright field effect when the outer diameter is smaller than the working distance.

Dual Function Ring Light
RL5064
Characterized as a Dual Function Ring Light, the RL5064 is capable of both bright and dark field illumination with independent control (depending on control option). A wide variety of wavelengths may be specified from UV to IR. The large inner diameter of the ring light can accommodate lenses up to 55mm in diameter. The light can also be ordered with an optional 3 point mounting barrel.
